I saw the woodland cottage and loved the 'elephant hide bucket sofas'? i think they were recycled 1970s originals, Italian brown /tan leather, and you could walk on them. I cannot source them - can anybody help me?

As previously mentioned by a couple of people on here (I too wouldn't usually bother posting something like this, but...) Melissa Porter is driving me up the bloody wall. She's relentlessly and unnecessarily competitive with the 2 blokes, whilst simultaneously being the least qualified to pass judgement.

    Otherwise, great show !

    Thankyou.

I like Melissa Porter. Apart from being very trendy and pretty herself, she is that important female voice in the show. The homes that she chooses are exactly what I'd go for.

The contemporary house in Scotland was a delight. The Architect had thought about every aspect from discreet ample storage to the fully retractable glazed and timber facade.A masterpiece of minimalistic contemporary architecture. Can I have one ? Seriously could I have the Architects details as we are looking to buy a plot of land to build our own house. This has given us a much needed boost of inspiration.

Melissa Porter drives me absolutely crazy on this show. She can be counted on to find the home that shows the most bling and coos over it like every sterotype of a footballer's wife wannabe. Worse, I have noticed that while the guys will praise various aspects of her chosen house, the over-competitive Melissa rarely ahs a nice word to say about the guys' choices.

Please, Melissa, tone it all down! You're annoying.

I didn't get chance to write down the competition question, possible answers or number to text on tonight's episode. I think the question was 'where does the Duke of Edinburgh live' or something along those lines. Can anyone help? I can't find it on the 5 website either.

Melissa Porter on I Own Britain's Best Home....Noooooooo!!!!!

She so isn't the person for such a potentially upmarket show. She has all the wrong approaches..a bit too common [the word LOUNGE, said in her stretched out Northern accent is awful..], the 'oooh glass bricks' belongs in the 90's, etc. I am so sorry, I have never written an email like this before, but I really wanted to watch this programme and, instead, I am writing this email out of frustration whilst the programme is on as I write..//
