Programme Information

Jeremy Northam and Steve Zahn are two convicts who break out of jail.

They steal a winnebago and head south, arriving in the little town of Happy, Texas where they are mistaken for a couple of gay men who will organise and judge the yearly Little Miss Fresh Squeezed contest.

Lots of situation comedy for the awkward, jittery Zahn as the pageant coordinator for dozens of precocious little girls and one precocious mother (Illeana Douglas) who spots Zahn for a ringer, but likes the look of him anyhow. N

Meanwhile, Northam is trying to hold off lonely Sheriff Chappy (William H Macy) while romancing the attractive Josephine (Ally Walker).
