Three unemployed parapsychology professors decide to go into the spook removal business - a kind of high-tech exorcism. They set up as ghostbusters at around the same time New York goes into supernatural overdrive. The activity seems to be centred on a tall Central Park apartment block. Soon there are more ghouls and ghosts than these guys can cope with, and that's before evil spirits start busting out of statues and possessing their neighbours.
