Programme Information

Husband-to-be Ben (Ben Afflick), is an author who writes the synopses on the back of books. On the way to his wedding in Savannah, he soon discovers that the road to true love never runs smoothly.

When he just manages to make his flight, by the skin of his teeth, he thinks that the trip is going to be plain sailing, however a seagull flies into the engine of his plane on take-off and is consequently grounded.

Thinking this is only a minor hitch things are made twice as worse when he soon discovers that all flights are cancelled due to an impending hurricane. This forces Ben to make the journey by road instead and is forced to share a car with a wildly eccentric, but attractive, woman called Sarah who is on her way to meet a special person.

This road trip leads to several catastrophic events. First the two are mistaken for a married couple, and then they bump into his best friend and his partner, who just so happens to be his Fiancee's best friend.

Now the two might have to face up to the fact that they are destined to be together, or they could of course be worrying about their upcoming events and looking for an easy way out!
