Possibly the most macho man in the history of Hollywood to be called Marion? Big John stars in a classic wartime drama set high above Guadalcanal in 1942. The pilots of the US Marine fighter squadron daily risk their lives against the Japanese in spectacular airborne battles, but on the ground there is a rising tide of resentment towards their dictatorial commander.
