    Having succesfully taken the cure, Paul Martin has overcome his Posh Knot scarf habit. But the relief for Flog It viewers has been short-lived as the silly affectation of wearing scarves inside, even on the hottest days has infected Philip Serrell who started off mimicking his mate Paul's Posh Knot but has now progessed to a more artistic and flamboyant drape which he no doubt believes conveys a sort of fashionable insouciance rather than making it look as though he suffers from a nasty and persistence throat infection. Someone in the BBC ought to have a quiet word.

    I enjoy watching Flog It but for gods sake hold back on the Claris Cliff, Moorcroft, Whitefriars and Troika surely there must be other interesting items besides these amongst the thousand you must preview... and please please cut out the irritating music between items

    Hiya my sister was on one of the shows you did at king's lynn, she brought in a ring and a picture of a guardian angel standing over a bed with a girl a sleep in it.     Get your fact right. Paul Martin does know what he is talking about. He is an expert in furniture, especially oak. Most antiques experts start at the bottom to learn their trade.

    Flog It is brill. I have watched it since day 1.

    Paul martin is a good presenter but is no expert! The man is an ex street trade and gets things wrong so often on the programme. He also raises sellers expectations re the possible selling price.

    I was half watching 'flog it' yesterday from Swansea when the presenter went to Porthcawl. He interviewed an 80 year old lady and they chatted about welsh miners and someone in the states (a son of a slave)who plighted their cause - this guy had an amazing voice and an even more amazing message. Naturally I didn't get to write his name down and would dearly like to know more. Can you please enlighten me....

    PS I agree with you Anne - a donation ought to go back to charity..... our nation is far to greedy by far....

    It really annoys me when Paul Martin congratulates people on buying something in a charity shop for 50p who then sell it for £50. No-one ever offers to give some of the profit to the charity and as someone who works at the local Hospice I know how hard it is to raise money for any charity. Please, Paul, instead of congratulating them, why not play on their conscience and get some money back to the charity. After all most of the people working in these shops are volunteers who often have no idea of the value of things they are handling.
