Unfortunately First Daughter isn't on the air any time soon.

Programme Information

Alex McGregor (Mariel Hemingway), is the special agent who saved President Jonathan Hayes against the last assassination attempt made on him.

Although she succeeded in keeping him alive, her unorthodox approach alienates her secret service boss. She is demoted to the role of bodyguard to Jess (Monica Keena), the President's wilful and spoiled daughter, who suspects she has designs on the position of First Lady.

On a rafting expedition, Jess is kidnapped. Three hillbillies put on war paint, dropping the drawl for long enough to rig up a satellite phone. Two agents are killed and it's now up to Alex and a rafting instructor to save the day in a thrilling finale.

Where have I seen that face? The cast includes a couple of faces you might recognise: two stars from Australian soaps - New Zealander Alan Dale (Jim Robinson from Neighbours) and Tempany Deckert, better known to small screen aficionados as the sullen Selina Roberts from Home And Away.
