Programme Information
The story follows Cmdr. John Crichton (Ben Browder), a scientist and astronaut, who has developed a spaceship and a theory that relies on slingshot propulsion.
However Crichton was shot through a wormhole during a test flight and has been propelled into an unknown galaxy. Crichton is now subsequently on the run from the insane military commander Krays who is out for revenge for the accidental killing of his brother.
Travelling on a stolen prisoner ship the 'Moya' with Officer Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) and with unlikely alien companions, such as Ka D'Argo (Anthony Simcoe), Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan (Virginia Hey), Chiana (Gigi Edgley), Rygel XVI (John Eccleston), Pilot (Lani John Tupu) the clash of cultures causes more than a few problems for this group on the run.
While on the run in the uncharted territories of space, the team encounter many new planets, lifeforms and problems each day.
