Programme Information

Offbeat thriller in which a cinema special-effects wizard, now a designer of hi-tech toys, returns to his former trade to help a detective set up a sting to catch a psychopath. In spite of all his precautions, things go horribly wrong and the detective is killed. The effects expert then has to call in his old buddy, a retired cop, to help track down the killer.
