Programme Information

Originally called "Emperor of the North Pole" this is a classic story of conflict.

Set around the free man versus the establishment - set on the US railroad lines during the Great Depression.

We see men from all over the country finding themselves jumping on freight trains to the next hobo destination.

However, in Oregon's Willamette Valley, they steer clear of Number 19 and its ruthless conductor - 'The Shack'.

But one freight-hopper is ready to challenge him!
