Programme Information

Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson) is a successful and very intelligent scientist with a sparkling future, after discovering and engineering a synthetic skin which could be revolutionary in grafting operations. Yet there is a glitch which is delaying the public knowledge of this latest scientific discovery - it decomposes after 100 minutes of light exposure.

One night, whilst working on a way to stop this from happening, a troup of gangsters break into the laboratory where Peyton is working, and blow it up... with him inside.

Presumed dead at the scene, Peyton does in fact survive but iwth horrific burns which have left him horribly disfigured and totally unrecognisable.

With the assistance of medical science, doctors remove his neurons to relieve his pain, which leaves him with supererhuman strength and agility.

Now with a new quest in life.. for revenge, Peyton, aka the Darkman, is able to take on the appearance of anyone with the help of the synthetic skin, and take on many guises, but he's only got 100 minutes per disguise! But how can he face his love again?
