The crime-busting chalk and cheese duo tackle another intriguing case. A village priest is found dead shortly after a highly publicised 'miracle cure', and Andy Dalziel and Peter Pascoe find themselves up against a community divided and full of superstition. However, their search for the prime suspect turns up an unexpected find: the remains of a little girl, murdered some 40 years before.
