Programme Information

Funny and moving tale of an elderly father and his adult son who rediscover each other - and themselves - when brought together by a family crisis. When Bettie (Olympia Dukakis), the wife of 75-year-old Jake Tremont (Jack Lemmon), is hospitalized, his long-absent son John (Ted Danson) moves in and looks after him. Gradually, his son's presence revitalises Jake and turns him into a new man, complete with a new lust for life.
