One time Mighty Ducks coach Gordon Bombay has been playing in the minor leagues, but is injured. So when he's asked to coach Team USA in the Junior Goodwill Games in LA, it seems like a great opportunity. But instead of recruiting a brand new team, he gets the old Mighty Ducks back together - and then adds some new players to complete the ethnic and regional mix. That means including a streetwise city kid and a cowboy! But the ethos of the old Mighty Ducks is still there, even when they meet the ruthless Icelanders in the finals.
