I am from an inner city area of Birmingham and truly disgusted by the Crime Invasion show that was about birmingham's Gangs. The inaccuracies in the documentary are an absolute discrace, and i believe that airing such a show without checking that, at least, the MAJOR facts involed were correct is a disrespect to the freinds and love ones that have been lost to the violence in this area and to all of their family and freinds that live through the pain. i will not address all of the inaccuracies but here are some HUGE mistakes. The area codes suggested to be at war were B6 (Aston) and B19 (Lozells and Newtown), this suggestion is absolutely rediculous and im appalled that this programme made it to air based tottaly around this when it is false. B6 and B19 are the main areas in which the Johnsons Crew opperate. The burger Bar Crew (not the burger bar BOYZ) are based in the Handsworth area of birmingham and are self proclaimed representatives of the B21 Postcode. To call this journalism is amazing, if any real attempt to reach out to people who understand these problems was made im sure correct information would had been found.
