Programme Information

Sci-fi movie about a scientist who receives a radio message from a distant point in the universe which seems to prove the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life. Encoded in the mass of data she receives from space is a blueprint for some sort of machine. Despite protests from religious leaders and cults, the machine is built and she gets the trip of her life.
