Action-packed western starring Dana Andrews as Jim Read, a frontier scout in 1870s America who's sent on a peace-seeking mission with Native Americans. He finds his task threatened by hard-line groups on each side, who both refuse to live in harmony with their neighbours. Kent Smith co-stars as the Indian chief also fighting for peace.
