Leo Garlfield (John Hannah) and his wife Lily (Famke Janssen) are an intelligent couple who support their luxurious London lifestyle by less than honest means.

An extremely confident professional conman, Leo is not used to having the tables turned. So when one of their scams shows all the signs of backfiring, their problems are just about to begin.

Enlisting the help of the local mob boss, who agrees to help only on the condition that Leo works for him, the pair find their only way out of trouble is that same way they got in..
