Chicken Run is a comedy escape drama with a touch of passion set on a sinister Yorkshire chicken farm in 1950's England.

Having been hopeless;e repressed and facing certain death at the chicken farm/chicken pie factory where they are kept, Rocky the rooster (Mel Gibson) and Ginger (Julia Sawalha) decide to rebel agianst their keepers, the evil Mr and Mrs Tweedy (Tony Garth & Miranda Richardson respectively).

Rocky and Ginger then lead their fellow inmates to victory when they perform the greatest escape the world of film has ever seen.
