This Oscar-winning film is true-life drama following the fortunes of two very different British, male track athletes as they work their way from humble beginnings to the pinnacle of their sporting careers at the 1924 Olympics.

One of the men, Eric Liddell (Ian Charleson) is a devout Scottish missionary who's main drive is God. The other is Harold Abrahams (Ben Cross), a Jewish Cambridge University student who's drive is simply fame and a means to escape prejudice
