Johnny Depp plays George Jung, one of the first Americans to realise the profits to be made smuggling cocaine from Colombia into America in the '70s. Based on a real life story, Ted Demme's film follows his rise and fall, as the authorities catch up with him - he's due to be released from prison in 2014.
