Fact-based drama about a nightclub singer undergoing therapy for alcoholism - treatment that includes being sedated. However, during one session she comes round unexpectedly and catches her psychiatrist trying to rape her. She enlists the help of a sympathetic lawyer and a psychologist to pursue her case in the courts, but finds the word of a respected doctor is more readily believed than someone with a history of instability.
