Programme Information

Burt Lancaster and Susan Sarandon star in acclaimed director Louis Malle's Oscar-nominated crime drama about a small-time gangster named Lou who gets involved with a pretty, young croupier called Sally and her husband, a thief who has stolen drugs from the Mafia. The husband employs Lou to sell the drugs for him but with the Mafia ruthlessly pursuing them, it's not long before Sally's life is in the balance.
