A lavish adaptation of the ever-popular legends recounted by Scheherazade. Having married the bitter sultan she unrequitedly loves, Scheherazade faces execution as soon as her new husband inherits the kingdom. But she hopes that her exciting and entertaining stories which include tales of Ali Baba And The Forty Thieves and Aladdin And His Wonderful Lamp, will save her life and win the sultan's heart.
