Programme Information

A dramatic reconstruction of the last hours before the Falklands conflict and the outbreak of war. Opening on April 1, 1982, the film shows the arrival of Major Mike Norman to replace Major Garry Noott, and the Royal Marines detachment's preparations to leave after their year's service. But political events are sweeping the islanders whose front line is practically in their back gardens.
