Colm, a Catholic, and George, a Protestant, are prison barbers who take over the business of hairpiece seller The Scalper, who's been banged up. At first business is great but as they ply their wares through strife-torn Northern Ireland competition looms in the shape of a rival firm, and politics, business and religion clash in Barry Levinson's dark comedy.
