Taylor Hackford's remake of the classic film noir Out of the Past, starring Jeff Bridges as down-on-his-luck ex-professional football player Terry Brogan, who agrees to track down the girlfriend of a shady nightclub owner. Tracing her to Mexico, Terry falls for her and finds himself pulled deep into a conspiracy.
