Programme Information

Bettina is a cynical New York City magazine writer who is sent back to her hometown to cover the story of Paco Ramirez, a comatose man with healing powers. She is determined to prove that the miracles are a hoax, because she does not have faith in God. As Bettina re-connects with her family and neighbours, she is able to deal with the tragic events that drove her away ten years earlier. When Bettina re-discovers her faith, she is able to ask Paco to heal her.
