Programme Information

Hank Mitchell (Bill Paxton) is a mild mannered store manager while his brother, Jacob (Billy Bob Thornton), is the complete opposite.

When the two brothers get together with a mutual friend, Lou Chambers (Brent Briscoe), they all decide to go on roadtrip. However, along the way, they stumble across the site of a plane crash.

With no-one inside the plane or around it, the three investigate the site and fall across a bag containing $4.4 million in stolen cash.

This find encourages Hank, with the help of his wife, Sarah (Bridget Fonda) to make sure that the money is kept a secret from the authorities.

However, this puts a lot of strain on the trio's relationships and it isn't long before they begin to doubt each other. Inevitably, this leads to a shocking array of lies and deceit with the final showdown being not at all what they expected.
