Programme Information

This is the original spaghetti western which made Clint Eastwood the house-hold name that he is today. Also known as "Per un pugno di dollari"

The story follows the trail of an anonymous, but deadly man known as 'The Man With No Name' (Clint Eastwood).

When he rides into a town he finds it becoming torn apart by a war which takes place between two factions: The Baxters and the Rojo's.

This film drew its inspiration from the Samurai film "Yojimbo"

Instead of turning tail and running, the man decides to profit from the conflict by staying around and playing the two families off against each other.
