In an effort to keep Joey away from his attractive new interior designer, Alex tries to teach him Texas Hold 'em, a type of poker game. When Joey gets frustrated with losing, she begins to get creative with the rules of the game, making things very interesting when Joey is asked to go on the television show "Celebrity Poker." In a match hosted by Dave Foley and poker expert Phil Gordon (who play themselves), Joey plays against celebrities Alan Thicke, Louie Anderson, Coolio and Cindy Margolis (who play themselves)
