A man on board a flight becomes violently ill and passengers House and Cuddy suspect they are dealing with a meningitis outbreak when a woman develops the same symptoms. The doctor hastily puts together a team to help solve the mystery and performs a risky spinal tap using makeshift tools. Meanwhile, Cameron and Chase relationship begins to affect their work.
