Its Joey's opening night and the whole gang go along to watch, however the critics think it's awful which results in the director breaking off his relationship with Kate paving the way for Joey. All is going well until Kate accepts a job in Los Angeles. Rachel starts dating a guy who compulsively screams at everyone, but Ross is the only one who witnesses this strange behaviour and no-one will believe him.
