JD's efforts to make a good impression on a first date go awry when he and Kylie get caught in a hospital quarantine. A series of events bring JD and Kylie to Scared Heart on their first date, where JD inadvertently starts a SARS panic, forcing the ward to lock down. While the hospital staff wait it out, they recount various first date stories, leading to the revelation that Dr Cox and Carla dated in the past.
