A snowy Thanksgiving turns chaotic for Carol when she goes into labour on the subway and battles to get to the ER with the help of Luka, her ordeal continues when the battle starts to save her premature twins. Her Lamaze partner, Mark, is unaware of this as he takes his daughter and father to have dinner with Corday. When he learns of Carol's plight he leaves the two with an unsuspecting Corday. Meanwhile, Dr. Dave impresses Carter with his knowledge of a rare disease, and an ambulance is involved in a road accident while transporting a dialysis patient.
