Phoebe talks Monica into putting her name down on a waiting list for having a future wedding in a museum, knowing that it was a two-year waiting list Monica agrees. However, things go pear shaped when the organiser leaves a message on Monica's answer phone saying there had been a cancellation and Chandler overhears this. After the initial shock of what he heard, he decides to drop the big question. He asks Phoebe to help him buy an engagement ring and when they find the ideal one he leaves Phoebe there to guard it as he goes to get his credit card off Joey. However on his return Phoebe informs him that someone came in and bought it so the two set out to get it back off the guy. Luckily the guy agrees and the two swap rings. Meanwhile, Rachel regrets asking Paul to open up to her when he starts crying relentlessly.
