Living is the no 1 channel for woman, broadcasting daily from 6am 'til midnight on analogue/digital cable and satellite.
Living is addictive, compulsive, entertaining and fun. Launched in 1994 as UK living, the channel was rebranded Living in October 1997, and is aimed at women (16-44 year olds) and housewives with young children.
Living has seen a meteoric increase in popularity throughout the latter half of the 1990s. In 2000, Living retains its position as the UK's most-watched female-targeted channel.
"Living" provides a vibrant mix of exclusive comedy such as 'Will & Grace', a new series from the director of Friends; new drama including 'Charmed', a supernatural series about three sisters, starring Shannen Doherty; chat with 'Maury Povich' and the king of talk himself, 'Jerry Springer'; and great movies every weeknight at 9pm.
"Tiny Living" is the channel's special two-hour selection of programmes for pre-school children and their parents, including 'Barney', 'Johnson & Friends' and 'Caliou'. Tiny Living is on every weekday from 7am till 9am.
The channel also has many own productions, such as exclusive fly-on-the-wall documentaries, 'Brighton Rocks' and 'The Stag & Hen Show', as well as 'The Real Dating Show', which follows numerous lonely hearts on their first dates.
To complete the channel's suite is the Living website. This site allows visitors to catch up on all the latest gossip from the programmes, as well as exclusive live Web chats with some of the main characters from the programmes. There are also weekly competitions, practical advice on a range of topics from relationships to child care as well as cinema and restaurant reviews.
