HTV has provided an independent television service to Wales for over 30 years as part of the ITV Network. It transmits nearly 12 hours a week of regional programmes in the English language. HTV also produces many programmes in Welsh for S4C. HTV has regional offices throughout Wales and is part of the United News & Media group of companies. It is regulated by the Independent Television Commission.
