Community Channel is the only TV station in the UK dedicated to championing good causes. Our aim in life is to use the power of television to create positive action in our viewers' lives, society and the world at large.
From real life documentaries, interviews and discussion shows to music, news and films, Community Channel aims to provide TV which makes our viewers think again - from the provocative and challenging to the inspirational and
entertaining. Above all we believe in broadcasting programmes that highlight positive ideas, positive energy and the good causes that hold our communities together.
Community Channel showcases the work of some truly amazing people who are striving to change lives for the better. They are people with courage, big hearts and determination -the ground-breakers, entrepreneurs, doers, thinkers and believers - the normal people who try to make a positive
difference every day.
Another important agenda of the Channel is to highlight the plight of those people within our communities who are most in need, helping to raise money through our interactive TV 'red button' donation facility as well as awareness and a wider understanding of issues that can be sometimes complex, harrowing and heartbreaking.
Community Channel is a place for viewers to engage with real life issues, find out more information and give time, energy, opinions, skills or money directly to the causes showcased.
